Cleto Reyes training and sparring head protection
like all Cleto Reyes products, this head protection comes from the Mexican manufacturer of the Reyes family. The Mexican style is a headguard that has cheekbone protection but does not have a chin guard. The lack of a chin guard does not convey any deceptive security that is no longer available in competitions and helps to train an absolutely precise sense of distance - where it is necessary at the most dangerous "KO point" the chin.
