The graphic elements evoke and narrate the Egyptian world through the hieroglyphs and the important icons of that time: the pharaoh and the scarab. Ramses, visible on one side of the shorts, is often cited as the greatest, most powerful and most famous pharaoh of the Egyptian Empire. A mighty ruler, an indomitable warrior. Feared by enemies, loved by the people, protected by the gods, Ramses left an indelible mark on human history. The figure of the scarab on the other side of the shorts is a symbol of resurrection. The scarab-shaped amulets (heart scarabs with prayers and greetings written on the lower face) were placed on mummies to symbolize rebirth.
