Head Guards

A contentious issue in competition, an important tool in sparring. Although head protection has been abolished in men's amateur boxing, it is very important during sparring training. It's too easy to injure yourself, mostly accidentally. Head protection not only protects against classic hits in boxing, but also against hits on the ears, which can damage the eardrum. The headguard encases the head while leaving the face exposed for hits.
