Traditional recipe for skin care
This old Kappus recipe uses a well-known active ingredient, the so-called milking fat. Milking fat consists largely of vaseline and skin care additives. It forms a protective layer on the skin and prevents the release of moisture.

Milking fat is still used today as an ointment basis and meets the purity criteria of the German Pharmacopoeia (DAB).

Milking fat protects the skin, makes it supple and prevents cracking. Excessive moisture rolls off. The skin is protected and cared for without clogging the pores. Fat lost when washing is replaced.

In the past, milking fat was not lacking in any farm household and is still a proven natural skin care product with a high level of effectiveness for dry and sensitive skin.

In this soap series we only use natural, cosmetically tested additives such as milking fat, almond oil, honey and elderberry extracts. All have proven themselves in skin care for decades, as they are kind to the skin and ecologically harmless.
