The Elite Belt IJF is the international competition belt from adidas.

This competition belt complies with the IJF rules both up to and after April 2015! Depending on the date of manufacture, the belt will be delivered with either a blue or red label. Unlike judo suits, the color of the label has no effect on admission to international tournaments.

This means that after April 2015 the blue IJF logo will also be permitted on the belt, since the specifications for the belts have not changed.

Note:
An IJF logo is only required on black belts . Brown belts or blue belts can also participate in IJF or EJU tournaments without the IJF logo on the belt.
