The OPRO PowerFit is a completely new mouthguard. This mouthguard won the ISPO Gold Award in 2018, the highest award for a piece of sports equipment from the jury of the world's largest sports fair. The innovation of the PowerFit is the unique type of fitting that ensures that the fit and comfort of the PowerFit is so close to that of a custom fit mouthguard, i.e. a mouthguard that a dentist fits directly for you, so that you can hardly notice the difference. The two supplied clips are placed around the mouthguard when fitting. Then, after heating it in a water bath, bite into the mouthguard with your upper jaw teeth and bite down on the white braces. As a result, there is no damage to the mouthguard below, which could bother you later. Furthermore, the serrations of the white clasp close around the black clasp, where your mouthguard is. These teeth in turn close very tightly around the mouthguard and are narrowed by your biting movement around the mouthguard. As a result, the PowerFit nestles snugly around your teeth and fits like a glove.
Opro's three-layer mouthguard, with a durable outer layer for more impact protection, with a flexible inner layer for comfort and adjustment and with "Air Spacers" for maximum cushion effect with best protection.
This is where the patented, unique lamella technology from Opro comes into play. With Opro, there is no gel inside the mouthguard shell, but raised lamellae (fins). These fins are then spread by the teeth as you adjust in the hot water and wrap around the bit for maximum protection. This prevents excess gel, which usually escapes to the side in commercial tooth protectors, from interfering with the fit and comfort.
The innovative stretch zones (three small indentations distributed over the edge of the mouthguard) also ensure that the shell can expand with a wide bit and contract with a narrow bit. This will result in the perfect mouthguard for everyone.
In addition to protection for the teeth, the Opro mouth guard also offers ideal protection against jaw and face injuries as well as concussions.
